“Grace and love like mighty rivers,
poured incessant from above and
heaven’s peace and perfect justice
kissed a guilty world with love.”
“O, Love of God!
How rich and pure,
how measureless and strong.
It shall evermore endure
the saints and angels songs.”
“The things of earth go strangely dim
in the light of His glory and grace.”
“Tune my heart to sing Your praise!”
“Prone to wander, Lord I feel it.
Prone to leave the God I love.”
“He to rescure me from danger
interposed his precious blood.”

i love the old hymns. the old writers ran deep. they had a reverant appreciation for the scriptures as they wrote their songs. just give me an old baptist hymnal and a grand piano and a pipe organ, and i’d be content. my fav: prone to wander, Lord i feel it, prone to leave the God i love…” good stuff!
Just found you–think it was God–I’ll bring you something Thurday nite love, Bonnie
